These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ScamSense mobile application (the "App") and website at scamsenseapp.com (the "Website"), collectively referred to as the "Service." By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
By downloading, installing, or using ScamSense, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ScamSense.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
ScamSense is an AI-powered scam detection application that helps users identify potentially fraudulent messages, URLs, and content through:
Some features require account creation. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete registration information and to keep this information updated.
You may delete your account at any time through the App settings or by contacting us. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
ScamSense offers a free tier with limited daily scans. Free users have access to core features including text scanning, screenshot analysis, and community reports.
Refund requests for Premium subscriptions are handled through the Google Play Store in accordance with Google's refund policy. For billing inquiries, contact us at sales@xigmapro.com.
You agree not to use the Service to:
The Service, including its design, code, algorithms, graphics, logos, trademarks, and content, is owned by ScamSense and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our express written consent.
You retain ownership of content you submit for scanning. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your submitted content solely for the purpose of providing the scam detection service. This license terminates when the content is processed and discarded.
By submitting public scam reports, you grant ScamSense a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and use the report content to help protect other users from scams.
ScamSense uses AI-powered analysis to assess scam risk. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all scams will be detected or that all flagged content is actually fraudulent. The Service provides risk assessments and informational guidance only.
The Service does not constitute legal, financial, or professional advice. If you believe you have been a victim of fraud, contact your local law enforcement, your bank, and relevant consumer protection agencies.
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
The Service may display or link to third-party content. We do not endorse, verify, or assume responsibility for third-party content, products, or services.
